Meet Jake Merrick

Faith, Family, and Service to Oklahoma

Faith & Family

Jake Merrick is a devoted Christian, married for 14 years to his wife, and a proud father of two homeschooled daughters, ages 16 and 10. As an adoptive parent, Jake understands that the nuclear family is the core unit of our society. Jake will lead with a Family First Agenda.

A seminary graduate, author, entrepreneur, and former pastor, Jake has dedicated his life to serving others through teaching, speaking, and leadership. His commitment to fitness and active living reflects his belief in personal responsibility and stewardship.

Jake has served in the Oklahoma state senate, and he understands the political system. He believes that it is the very system that needs reform, and he has consistently called for this reform on his morning radio show and the Jake for the State podcast. The future of Oklahoma depends on it.

"My mission is to serve Oklahoma guided by faith and family values. I believe in standing on principle, not politics, and fighting for the future our children deserve."
